Entry Level Communications Assistant
Resilient Enterprises is a growing community outreach and event marketing organization that partners with nationally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations to help increase public awareness, strengthen community engagement, and support meaningful impact through live events and outreach campaigns.
We are currently hiring an Entry-Level Communications Assistant to join our expanding team. This role is ideal for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in communications, public relations, nonprofit outreach, event marketing, and community engagement.
No prior experience is required. We provide paid training, ongoing mentorship, and structured opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Support community outreach campaigns and nonprofit awareness initiatives
- Communicate directly with community members at live events and outreach activities
- Represent nonprofit organizations in a professional and positive manner
- Share information about nonprofit missions, programs, and fundraising efforts
- Assist with event coordination, setup, and on-site engagement activities
- Help maintain positive public interactions and customer-facing communication
- Support team members in executing outreach and campaign objectives
- Learn communication, public relations, and marketing skills through hands-on training
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
- Interest in communications, public relations, marketing, or nonprofit outreach
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, public-facing environment
- Customer service, retail, hospitality, or event experience is helpful but not required
