Event Marketing Assistant – Entry Level
We’re looking for a motivated and personable Entry-Level Event Assistant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and being part of exciting community events, promotional campaigns, and marketing activations.
As an Event Assistant, you’ll work alongside our event and marketing team to help coordinate and execute successful events on behalf of our clients. You’ll gain hands-on experience in event coordination, customer service, marketing, promotions, brand representation, and community outreach while working in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
No previous event experience? No problem! We provide hands-on training and ongoing support to help you develop the skills needed to succeed and advance your career.
What You'll Do
Assist with the setup and breakdown of events, promotional areas, signage, and marketing materials.
Help coordinate onsite event activities and ensure everything runs smoothly.
Welcome and engage with customers, attendees, and community members.
Represent our clients and their brands in a friendly and professional manner.
Provide information about products, services, promotions, and campaigns.
Create positive customer experiences through professional and engaging interactions.
Work with team members, event organizers, and vendors to support successful events.
Help maintain clean, organized, and professional event spaces.
Assist with customer engagement, lead generation, promotions, and fundraising activities when applicable.
Collect customer feedback and communicate important information to team leaders.
Complete event documentation and reports accurately.
Support the marketing team with additional promotional and community outreach activities.

The ideal candidate will have:
High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, events, sales, marketing, or promotions is a plus but not required.
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
